Happy Foodie Friday!  This week we are making Quiche Bites.  This recipe is for our friend Pepe who LOVES our Turkey Chips.

As with all of our recipes, you can make changes and/or addition depending on what you have in your pantry and the types of food that your dog enjoys.

 Ingredients:

  • 6-7 turkey chips (you can substitute 1/4 cup of cooked meat or chicken if you’re between orders)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/3 cup green beans cut into small pieces ( you can substitute any fresh or thawed frozen, dog safe veggie)

  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil to coat the pan.

For the Quiche bites, I used two mini muffin pans.  Break the Turkey Chips into small pieces and place them in the bottoms of the each section of the pan.  Be sure to coat the pan with olive oil first.

Mix the eggs ,cottage cheese and green beans together.

Place a heaping tablespoon over the Turkey chips

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins.  Makes 12 mini Quiche Bites. Serve a bite or two with you dog’s regular meal.  Just remember to reduce the amount of food you serve.

How easy was that?  NOW GO COOK FOR YOUR DOG!  If you would like to win your very own sample pack of Turkey Chips, enter the giveaway at All Things Dog Blog.

Please note: These recipes are not ‘nutritionally complete’ as defined by the AAFCO*.  However, my dog Coco’s diet has been 90% home cooking with no problems for years.  I supplement her diet with fish oil, yogurt, kelp powder, cottage cheese, Dasuquin with MSM.

If your dog is new to home cooked meals start slowly and consult your vet if your dog has any existing medical issues.
